Another Angry Bird and Baby Headband

Hi all!!

How are you all today?

Doin great I hope ;)

It's my 2nd week of work after Eid day.

and after 2 weeks, all back to normal again.

Piles of paper work, documents to check,

some invoices, and some other. 

Still try to 'steal' some time to crochet but only for simple stuff 

and finishing some orders. 

You might get bored with what I post

well.. I kinda bored too.

but 

what can I say.. Client is the Queen of all.

 and those Queens wants Earflap :D

And this..

was the latest earflap I made before Eid Holiday 

Angry Bird Earflap for 3yo and a Headband for 12 mths baby.

I use Softy Cotton for the earflap, and 2cm lace for the headband.

And now..

still try to steal some time for another project.

Baby Farhan and Pororo the Penguin

GREAT I hope.

Today I wanna share a pic of my newest customer, Farhan. His dad is one of my colleagues @the office. 

So last week, his dad highjacked my ready to deliver Pororo ear-flap which supposed to delivered to Depok, for Fayyaz. [so sorry mommy Nur :(].

And yesterday, Farhan daddy's sent me this pic of Farhan with his Pororo.

Cute na?!

And now.. I'm half way to crochet another Pororo for Fayyaz.

My friend PING me and asked about this Pororo Earflap

(which I put as my profile picture)

Then..

He ordered 2 piece of this Pinguin Earflap

One is for his baby boy, Ganang...

Yeah... another PORORO Earflap, ordered by my friend for her kiddo.

Since I run out of orange color..

So I use this yellow one.

{Earflap} Pororo part 1

Few month a go, a friend asked me if I can crocheted an earflap with PORORO Figure for her son.  I bet you know what Pororo is. Specially you who have kids ;)

So, I finally crocheted that hat last week. Since... another friend also asked me to crocheting this stuff for her. 

2 person already... I can't delay it again, right?! or GOD may get angry and make my customers dissapear. Puff!! Just like that.

After several times trying .. finally... I present this PORORO Earflap to you.. my beloved readers.

Material: Thalenta ICTS for its body

                          Thalenta TS for its face and glasses

                                             Thalenta ICT for its blue skin and lining of its hat

 Since I don't have kid's head mannequin, so I just use what I got at home :D

What I hate when crocheting figures is those details like eyes, nose, etc.

Feels like wanna screamed >.<

Did anyone ever feel like what i feel??

Anyway... I'm glad I could finally finished it. Still got one more to crochet though ;)

{Crafting} 1st Project in June

I finally finished one of my crochet project on this 1st week of June. Well, actually, I started from May, but finished it last Friday and its June already.

Don’t think of BIG project please! Coz you might get disappointing. It was only a simple Slouchy Hat. Totally simple! I’m only using sc and dc. But for me it’s a new thing. 1st .. I never crocheted any slouchy before. 2nd.. I never crocheting hat from the bottom. And I found it little bit hard. I feel like my stitches is always twisting around >.< and 3rd… this slouchy hat was an order from a friend. So I kinda nervous.

But thanks GOD I could finish it. Off course with so many help from my friend through ‘PING’ing her Blackberry. Thanks a lot Sis Aning!!

And now…. let me introduce you to my 1st Slouchy Hat. Taraaaa!!!

End of September Project

Hi!!
Long time no see ^_^

I just finished several thing with crochet. Just some simple thing to get rid off my yarn so I have reason to buy new one ;)

So far, I made this two beanie with its headband using Indonesian Cotton.

 with Mimo Melati (brand of the yarn)

with Thalenta ICT

Also made this Granny Jacket (again). This time was an order from a frien, Titin for her Baby Althaf. This was made with Thalenta Softy Cotton. As requested, I made it bigger than usual size. Hope she'll satisfied with my work.

Last one... I start crocheted something with blend Indonesian Cotton. You know.. sometimes I amaze how yarn can create its own shape or pattern when you crochet it. Just like this one.

See how a simple sc can shape diamond like that?!?! Amazing na??!

My Latest: Hat aka Beanie & Headband

Hows your weekend??

Mine is FUN! I spent my Sunday finishing application for hats that I've made about a week a ago. 

1st, I crocheted a purple flower for this blend hat (beanie) with additional small button on it. I'm still searching the web address where I downloaded the pattern for this flower, but still couldn't find it. Promise you I'll put it's pattern link as soon as I got it. By the way, I didn't use any pattern for this hat. Just let my fingers met my stash (Thalenta ICT baby, Micky-Mocko plain Purple and Ergonomic Clover 4/0) and dance.

5 Day Crochet Challenge: Simple Hat

Got bored with square (since I have to finished 20 pcs of FDWL square), so I crocheted this simple hat as interlude and as my participation on 5 Days Crochet Challenge before I started to make another square :D

Ilusion Hat (again) with 2 flower

Another Illusion Hat (GOSH!!)
This time I made it with THALENTA's Long Stripe.
The lesson I got from this long stripe is to use darker plain yarn so you can see its illusion.

Anyway... hope Mrs. Gina will like it.

Pink with Flower

This hat had the same design like my previous OWL hat.
The differences is only on color and application.
Ms. Melani (the one who ordered this) ask for pink with flower application.

Hat Metamorphosis

Hi!!

I made hat 2 days ago, but just finished yesterday.

Made this one from yarn that won from THALENTA's mix loot few months a go. This mix loot consist of 5 ball of ICTS @50gr. Since it's only half weight of the actual, so i try to combine them.

Plain Hat

When  i post this hat to DC, mba Thata suggest me to add 3D thing or amigurumi to this hat. So the search begin, finally i found an owl @ Lionbrand.com. I like it but i didn't follow that pattern 100%. So here's the hat now.

Another suggestion from sis Thata (which I agree) is that I need to lower that owl little bit. And Voila!!

Topi Beruang

Topinya orang males nih keknya. Gimana engga, orang DC semua :D
Abis kan ceritanya pengen kasih aplikasi, nah klo banyak tusukan, rasanya aneh aja. Ya udah jadinya Softy Cotton 5 ply ini Nda rajut dengan tusukan DC semua. Tentunya dengan clover hook no. 4/0.
Nahhh klo beruangnya, baru deh pake benang ICT. Matanya dari manik-manik hitam, sementara hidungnya pake felt. Udah dipajang di FB dan udah dikomentarin sama Ibu Ratu Kompornya DC. Nda disarankan untuk kasih ribbing. Siap laksanakan Ibu Ratu, semoga aja ICT nya cukup.

Brownie Hat

This hat was made based on Miss. Rika's order. She's driving motorcycle for her daily activities and she wants a hat to cover her hair, right before she wears her helmet. And she always requested dark colour. FYI this is her 2nd order.

Purple Hat

I made this hat yesterday. This was the very 1st time i made it without any pattern. Just try and try and try. It's a simple one, just using purple cotton (ICT) with clover hook no.4. And the stitches?? I only use DC and FPDC.

Aquamarine Shell

See this hat??
I just made it today.
I took the pattern from an Ondori Book but I don't know what's the title of this hat (since I can't understand Kanji letter).
But I will call it Aquamarine shell coz of the color and the stitches.
For this hat, I use ICT Mix with clover hook no.4.
I only spend half ball of yarn (more less 50 gr).

Red Hat

Since our Queen Thata from DC held a hat competition, and it's a MUST for all DC member, so I try to make another hat. Still a simple one, coz I'm a newbie in this hat thing. Actually I'm a newbie in crocheting world.

I used ICT plain, red n white for this hat with no. 4 clover hook and only use dc stitch. My mom said that this hat looks like a 'songkok'. A hat that moslem man use for pray (sholat).
